KuCoin price alerts: what KuCoin documents, and an alarm on a KuCoin pair
KuCoin’s app has price alerts: the App Store release notes for version 4.40.0 (14 August 2026) say you can “set multiple personalized alerts for each asset and get notified when prices hit your targets”. We found no KuCoin page that walks through the steps, and KuCoin released version 5.0 of its app in October 2026, so this page does not guess at its menus. It sets out what KuCoin’s own pages do say, then the steps for the same alert on a KuCoin pair in our Android app, where it can ring like an alarm.

What KuCoin’s own pages say about alerts

None of these gives the taps. On 28 October 2026 we searched KuCoin’s help centre for “price alert”, “alert”, “price notification” and “notification settings”: the results were announcements and help articles, mostly on margin, futures and trading bots, and none explained how to set a price alert. Any walkthrough recorded before 9 October 2026 shows an earlier version of the app than KuCoin 5.0.
Careful with lookalike “KuCoin” guides
Some search results for KuCoin price alerts are not KuCoin pages at all. On 28 October 2026 they included pages titled as KuCoin login guides, on other domains, with the name spelled “kuqoin” or “kucion”. KuCoin’s help centre and announcements are on kucoin.com. Sign in only there or in KuCoin’s own app, never through a link on another site.
Making sure KuCoin’s notifications reach you
KuCoin’s May 2026 notice was written about futures notifications. Its general steps are these:
- Install the latest version of the KuCoin app. Its 2022 notice had warned that older versions could deliver notifications late or lose some.
- Allow push notifications for the KuCoin app in your phone’s settings. On Android, the menus differ by phone model and Android version.
- In the KuCoin app, turn on the notification options you need under Notification Settings. The notice names only futures ones.
- Keep a second channel. KuCoin recommends at least two, for example email as well as app push, so that a problem with one channel does not leave you without the message.

What KuCoin’s app covers that ours does not
KuCoin’s pages describe notifications that Crypto Alerts & Alarms does not offer:
- Futures notifications, such as liquidation warnings, switched on in the app under Futures, More, Preferences, Notifications, or on the website under Futures Trading, Settings, Alert, according to the May 2026 notice.
- Volatility Alert, listed beside Price Alert in KuCoin’s 2022 notice on app messages.
- Whale movements: a push when trading by KuCoin’s largest traders in a coin passes a threshold within 10 minutes, 30 minutes or an hour, according to KuCoin’s help centre.
Our app alerts on price only: a level, or a percentage move, on an exchange pair or a Solana token.
Setting the alert on a KuCoin pair in Crypto Alerts & Alarms
These steps are for our app, not KuCoin’s. It is an Android app that follows KuCoin spot pairs such as BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT, XRP/USDT or BTC/EUR through KuCoin’s public market data, so it needs no KuCoin account, login or API key.
- Install Crypto Alerts & Alarms from Google Play and start a new alert.
- At the top of the coin list, tap the KuCoin chip, then search the coin and pick the pair.
- Choose “rises above” or “falls below”, then enter a target price or a percentage change. To cover both directions, add the other side.
- Under “Send to”, the push is always on: add the full-screen alarm, Telegram or both.
- Choose “Once, then switch off”, or “Every time” with 5 minutes to 24 hours between firings, and tap Create alert.
Our servers compare each new KuCoin price for the pair with your level, so the alert fires with the app closed. It goes by KuCoin’s last traded price for that pair, and a percentage alert turns into a fixed price level when you create it. The alarm rings over the lock screen even when the phone is on silent: how the alarm works, and the settings it needs.

Can a KuCoin price alert wake me up?
KuCoin’s release note talks about being notified and does not mention an alarm. Crypto Alerts & Alarms can watch a KuCoin pair and ring a full-screen alarm through silent mode on Android.
